Hello! Lots to catch you all up on, but more importantly the list is done and finalized for my December project advent. I figured I could share it with you all a little bit early, that way if you have any clever ideas on how to help me on my Christmas journey you can let me know! :)
1.) visit a nursing home and clean their hearing aids/change batteries/ do listening checks
2.) run a charity 5k
3.) stick post it note positive/spiritual holiday thoughts on cars in parking lots
4.) send cards to all my friends across the country
5.) sign 25 change.org petitions that I care about
6.) donate a bag of clothes to a thrift store
7.) donate old towels to animal shelter
8.) make peanut butter sandwiches and pass them out to homeless Houstonians
9.) write my mom, grandma, brother, and uncle joe a letter explaining how very much they all mean to me
10.) donate food to a food pantry
11.) make a toys for tots donation
12.) host a small Christmas party for my new Houston friends!
13.) pay for the car behind me in the drive thru and ask them to give them a note that says Merry Christmas
14.) send cards for "holiday mail for heroes"
15.) donate blood
16.) bake something healthy to put in the hospital break room
17.) choose an angel off a giving tree
18.) get a group of people to carol(?) at a children's hospital or at least bring the kids teddy bears
19.) bring flowers to the hospital and ask the nurses to give them to someone who hasn't had any visitors
20.) download and work out with charity miles app
21.) volunteer to be a bell ringer for salvation army
22.) volunteer a day with Saint Anne's Catholic Church
23.) volunteer at a food bank
24.) bring a non-religious friend with me to midnight mass
25.) Christmas! Pray and skype with the family <3
I'm so excited! But probably could use some help especially with getting things like teddy bears and hearing aid batteries (audiology friiiiiends?!?)
